Em dash display issues

Hi, I want to use an em dash in my story, so I copied one from it's wikipedia page and pasted it into Twine. When testing in Chrome it displays fine, but in iPad Safari it displays these characters-

Anyone know how to get around this?

You can use the TiddlyWiki syntax "--" (two dashes) to get an em dash.

Are you hosting on Dropbox? There is a bug that Dropbox has regarding Unicode - but the 1.4.2 betas manage to work around it. Try using those?

Thanks both! I am dropbox hosting, but only for testing purposes, so if moving it will solve the issue that's cool. I'm really reluctant to update to the beta mid-project, as I'm working to a (very close) deadline and I won't have time to check no issues have popped up. I'll try the "--" too. Thanks again.
