Using asterisks to make bulleted lists in Harlowe, but the passage no longer cleanly fades in.
Hiyo! First post here, forgive me if I did something; I couldn't find any similar topics by searching so I'm hoping someone can help me out.
I tried to separate my link choices in each passage with asterisks before them, making bulleted lists, but when I test or play the story, instead of each passage fading in nicely like it usually does, the choices are readily apparent, and then after a second or two the non-bulleted text just appears flatly. Not only is it aesthetically unappealing, it draws the eye to the choices first and then the passage, which is backwards and spoil-y. Is there some interaction between links and bullets I'm missing, or did I mess something up?
If my explanation is confusing I am happy to get some screenshots to illustrate the issue.
