Trouble getting two custom macros to work at the same time

Hi! I'm making a game with Twine 2 in Sugarcube 1.2.2 and everything has been going smoothly so far (really loving twine, it's beautiful) until I ran with a problem trying to run two macros simultaneously. The two macros in question are these:
http://www.glorioustrainwrecks.com/node/5020
and
https://www.glorioustrainwrecks.com/node/5409
So, when I paste one of these into my Story Javascript, it works perfectly. I can paste either one and it will work, but I need both to work at the same time. Now, knowing nothing about javascript, I obviously tried pasting one after the other, and it didn't work. None of them worked when I did that.
I guess there has to be some obvious, simple way to use two custom scripts at the same time, but I have absolutely no idea on what I might have to do. I tried searching and googling but didn't find my question, so here I am. If someone could help me I'd be so grateful...!

Thanks once more for making twine, and have a nice day! ^^

There is no such version of SugarCube. Try again.

Neither of those will work perfectly, as neither are compatible with SugarCube. They may seem to work, however, some parts of those macros will not be functional. There are SugarCube compatible versions of them, however, we need to know which version you're actually using.
  • Wooops, sorry! I'm using SugarCube 1.0.34, so, do you know a way to implement these macros in this version? :)
  • As I said, you'll need to download the versions compatible with your version of SugarCube.

Since we now know that you're using SugarCube v1, go to its website and look under Downloads > Add-ons. The packages you want are the <<cyclinglink>> macro and <<replacelink>> macro set.

NOTE: Be sure to read the README included with each package—this is especially true for the <<replacelink>> macro set as some names have changed.
