How to write scripts in Twine 1.4.2 for Sugarcane?

I'm trying to use the typed.js library in my twine story but have not been able to link and/or use my script passage when test playing. I have had an absurd amount of difficulty finding documentation on scripts for this version so I will greatly appreciate any help.

Sugarcane is basically the ancient version of SugarCube.  I'd recommend updating from Sugarcane to the latest version of SugarCube if you want to do any development with it.

That page also contains links to the SugarCube documentation, which should help a lot with using it.  There's also a download link for a "typed.js integration module" on that page, so you should use that code if you want to use "typed.js" in Twine/SugarCube.
