Copy/Paste issues running Twine under Linux

I'm running Twine from a fresh copy of the source on Github, but I've always been unable to copy text from an external source and paste into passages (right click context menu reveals a greyed-out paste option). I am, however, capable of pasting into the tags input and can highlight and drag text into the passage, but it's a bit troublesome. Is there a known fix for this? (Continual searches have turned up nothing.) Or a way I can helpfully report it?

  • I have had copy-paste issues in Linux as well (openSUSE x86-64). I couldn't find a real pattern in it; sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I did notice the paste option in the menu blinking (switching between enabled and disabled maybe 4 times per second).

I have since switched to using the command line builder (twee), so I wasn't really motivated to investigate it further. But I can confirm that you're not the only one experiencing the issue.
