Newbie question about using a different stylesheet for specific passages

edited November 2015 in Help! with 1.x
I'm using Twine 1.4.2 with Sugarcane and have a stylesheet that applies to my entire Twine. There are a couple of passages, however, that I want to use a completely different stylesheet on. I've tried tagging those like this post suggests, but what happens is the new formatting gets layered over the existing stylesheet and the entire thing becomes a mess.

I tried tagging the general nodes with "default" and adding default to the main stylesheet, but that broke the CSS on the regular passages. Any ideas on what I can do to get this working? Thanks.
