Anyway to read the Twine 2 wiki offline?

Hi again!

Is there a downloadable manual with instructions and exercises for Twine 2? Or is the information only accessible online at the official Twine wiki? While I understand that the information on a wiki may change at any time, I prefer reading the information offline in my own pace.

If there isn't a downloadable manual, is there a way to download all of the tutorials etc. simultaneously, or can this only be done by manually visiting each page and download/print it?

When I write this post, I've tried using HTTrack Website Copier, but it has run for about 45 minutes and the download process still hasn't finished. Now I have about 168 MB data and almost >2000 links. Is the Twine wiki that big?

As far as I know there is now downloadable release of the Twine Wiki, nor do I know of a simple way to scrape (copy) it. I believe that the majority of the Wiki contents is related to the Twine 1 application and is mostly useless to a person using the Twine 2 application.

There are basically only two links you need to worry about for the Twine 2 application:

    1. The Twine 2 Guide

This section deals with using the application to edit the three different passage types (Standard, Story Javascript and Story Stylesheet) that are combined together with a Story Format to create a Story HTML file.

Because each Story Format is responsible for define it's own macro language, it's internal HTML/CSS structure, and the features it supports you will need to read the story format's own documentation to learn how to use the one you select for your story.

    2. The Screencasts by Dan Cox (youtube)

These are mostly about how to usr the Twine 2 application with the Harlowe story format, although there are a couple of videos about each of the Snowman and SugarCube story formats.
