SecurityError: The operation is insecure

So even with a blank Twine project, testing or building it will result in this message when opened with Firefox. I've yet to try a different browser. I'm running Windows 8.1 64x.
Things I've tried to fix this:
[list type=decimal]
Running Twine as administrator
Running Twine in compatibility mode
I searched this forum as well as Google for keywords in the error message but didn't find much. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?

I've tried all three. They make no difference.
If that doesn't help, right after that error message is displayed, open the Javascript console (right-click page -> Inspect Element, then click "Console") and report any message thus displayed.
