I'd like to make a Japanese version of my narrative, but whenever I try to upload it to the internet, it won't work, nor will the links show blue; they are always red, even though the scripts match. Help?

  • Are you uploading it to Dropbox? Generally, you should avoid that service if you use Unicode.
  • No, this is just directly uploading it onto the browser. It won't let me upload it because it says:

"An error occurred while building your story: (u'\u30eb')."

Whenever I try to build it.
  • That's not a problem with uploading to the internet, then. That's a problem with building the story. When you build a story, it opens it in your browser, but is still using the files on your hard drive with no internet involved. Can you give us more information about your setup? What operating system are you using (and is it a Japanese version or an English version), which version of Twine are you using, etc?
