My First Two Twine Games: Tiny Dungeon, Tiny Maze

I made these both last week for TwinyJam. The TwinyJam requirements were: less than 300 words. That was it.

This was just a straight-up old school tiny dungeon adventure:

Tiny Dungeon

This was an attempt to see how big an environment I could create within the 300 word limit while still making a playable game of some sort:

Tiny Maze

Would be grateful for any and all feedback.

  • I am really wishing I'd participated in Twiny Jam!

I liked your thriftiness with words in Tiny Dungeon, though I thought I missed something on my playthrough with the line "You didn't like it". (No, I don't have a better suggestion, and I get what you actually meant, that was just me!)

As for Tiny Maze, I think you have succeeded in creating an environment big enough that I couldn't figure out how to win it. So congratulations on that front? :) (Got a walkthrough?)
  • Cheers for the comments, Nicolem.

There's no walkthrough for Tiny Maze but the image on the TwinyJam submission page might be helpful.
  • Haha, oh man... I totally missed that the Hebrew characters were different letters! No wonder my mental model made no sense. :D
