Sugar cube help!

I'm new to Twine and CSS and all of that but I have some basics down like changing background color and font style and simple stuff like that. I want to put an inventory section on my story that includes stats like health and stamina. How would I go about doing that? First things, first... I would say spend a little time searching the forums before you ask because ALL OF THIS has been done before.

Below is a specific SugarCube example of an inventory system that might help.

For a new person you might find it hard to implement, but if you run into any problems you can always search to see how other people accomplished it, and then 2nd, ask. It will work, though... guaranteed. The guy who wrote it also wrote SugarCube.
