How to make lines fade in individually?

Hey there. I've just started trying out twine and I've been working on a conversation sort of game.

Because conversations don't happen all at once I wanna make the text fades in letter by letter or at least each lines fades in individually

Only I have no idea how to code. For now I learn by using existing scripts and seeing how they work, and mixing them up for myself. So far I've figured out how to do some simple things in it But I got no reference for this at all. 

Can anyone help?

The <<timedcontinue>> function of L's replace macro will let you add pauses between lines. The link is:

It's nice and easy to use (based on the fact I figured it out), but if you have any problems just ask.

I could find this really useful...If I knew how to use it. Sorry I'm really clueless with coding. But I'll learn
