[Harlowe]Why horizontal lines and aligner markups disable the effect of passage fading in?

edited October 2016 in Help! with 2.0
Hi everyone.

I am using Twine 2 (2.0.11) with Harlowe (1.2.2). My story includes several horizontal lines (---) and aligners (==>) in header and passages. Default passage fade-in effect disappears when these markups are used but everything is OK after they are removed from the story.

I am new to HTML and CSS. Why does this happen and how can I stop markups affecting page transitions?

Thank you.
