Is it possible to permanently display a value and modify it based on the player's choices?

Hello Twine people!

So, basically I have this story set up and would like to have four (text) values somewhere on the screen (they never move) and have them modified by the player's choices. It would work a bit similarly to the game Reigns, or to some kind of RPG where you have to survive in a dark forest and every choice costs you water or gains you food depending of what you do. Is it possible to do with Twine? How? For now, I'm using Harlowe, if that can help.

  • Try looking into making a header passage that contains the four things. It should then be visible at all times and be recalculated with every passage change.
