Hi all,
I'm trying to create the options for the player to save their game. Through quite a bit of googling I've seen some long discussions about this, but none that quite answer what I'm trying to do.
Here is what I would like:
The player to be able to save in certain passages, and only certain passages (this could be an autosave)
The player not to be able to undo their choices (back button on browser)
Basically, I have a design that is too long for a single play through, but I don't want the player saving constantly and restarting when they don't like the result (especially if it as easy as the back button).
I would prefer to do this is in Sugarcane if that is possible but I feel like I might have to change to Sugarcube (though even there not sure how it would be done, I see the save feature, but not the disable undo).
Thanks for any help that can be offered.

1. Disabling history tracking:
2a. For manual saves, limiting when saving is allowed (to passages tagged with a specific tag): 2b. For the autosave, autosaving on passages tagged with a specific tag: For either/both, you'll want to tag the passages in which you wish to allow saving with the
savable
tag (the tag name isn't special, you can use whatever you like).
