How do you stop a user from going back?

edited March 2015 in Help! with 1.x
Hello All,

I'm sure this question has been discussed before, but I couldn't find it and I didn't know what exactly I was looking for. (I don't understand code jargon, sorry.)
Any who, I would like to know how can you stop players from going back during an active game after they make a damaging choice. By the way, I'm using Sugarcane.

Thanks!

  • This Twine Wiki FAQ item explains how to totally disable the web-browser's Back button for a Sugarcane story.

If you only wanted to disable it for selected passages then this post (and thread) explains why that is not possible.
  • Thank you for pointing me in the right direction! :D
