Unclickable link

Using Harlowe (Twine 2.0.3). I haven't seen a way to do this in the forum or looking through the documentation: is there any way to show a link but make it unclickable? Say if I want to make a list of choices but leave one "greyed out" so to speak so that the reader is aware that it could have been a choice had they made a different decision earlier. Or if they need an item  in inventory but don't have it. Thanks for any help.

Just use an (if:) and (elseif:) macro to allow the link to show (if:) certain conditions are met, but otherwise (elseif:) show text with styles that make text appear superficially like a link, so bolded, grey coloured and underlined.
