I have been wrestling with this for a while now, with no solution, so I just thought I'd ask on here.
I was trying to change the size and position of the area in which text is displayed, which, according to furkle's Twine 2 CSS Tutorial
, is an element named tw-passage.
I find that horizontal properties(width:, left:) will work as expected but vertical ones(height:, top:) have no effect, unless
the value supplied to the property is larger than a certain percentage value/number of pixels. I was unable to pinpoint the exact value, but it's small enough that it prevents me fine-tuning the position of the text display area within two centimetres of the top of the final visible screen.
Could anyone supply me with a fix, or a workaround, or at least an explanation as to why this is happening?
Side-note: I'm pretty new to CSS, so please be merciful if this is something I ought to know, or something that's glaringly obvious.
