Is it possible for two people to be editing on the same story at the same time? (was: Avery)

Hello, my name is Avery. My crazy teacher has us trying to make games using Twine. I am student. We are using the Harlowe version of Twine. I need some help. I was wondering if it is possible for two people to be editing on the same story at the same time. If so, how?

You placed this question in the Twine 1 category, so I am assuming you are using that version.

simple answer:
No, two people can't edit the same story TWS file at the same time.

complex answer:
If you change to using a Text Editor and Twee files then you could place those files in a Version Control System and that would allow two (or more) people to work on the same story project.

Can't be done with Twine 2 either, even though it's a web application.

With Twine 1 you can use include files (StoryInclude), so you could have two people editing different 'chapters', but you'd need to agree an interface between the two.
