Nothing happens when locally publishing to file

I use Twine 2.1.0 on Windows 8.1

When I click the "Publish to File" option in Twine, nothing happens. No file is created (from what I can find), no dialogue box opens, nothing. Am I doing something wrong?

that's strange. you're not doing anything wrong, it always works for me. it might be something about your computer settings or operating system or something, but i don't really know much about that stuff.

When asking a question about the Twine 2 application itself it helps to know if you are using the install-able release of the application or the web-browser based release.

Which "Publish to File" option are you using:

1. The one that is accessible when viewing the Story Map editor.

2. The one that is accessible when viewing your list of Story Projects.

If option 2 then this appears to be a bug with both release types of v2.1.0 and v2.1.1 of the application. I strongly suggest you create a new issue on the Twine 2 project repository to let the developers know about the problem so that they can fix it.
