Hello,

It's very easy to ask the browser for the user's location in Javascript (though it requires a secure context and the user's permission.)

Twine is Javascript based, isn't it? Has anyone ever looked into combining Twine and location lookups to create a Twine that is navigated physically? Seems like you could create some really fun experiences quite easily if the two technologies were combined. Is there any prior art?

Mike

The story formats are a mini web-applications and each one contains a custom engine written in Javascript.

There is at least one game/story that uses geo-location, it's name is Somewhere and information about it can be found on the old forums archive. There are also a number of threads in the old forums archive related to this topic, I suggest you use it's search facility and search for "geolocation" (without the quotes)
