After installing Twine 2.1.3 on my new Windows 10 computer I found that passages were not created automatically when using [[any new passage]]. A check on the bug section showed the same issue as resolved. After a little digging I have found that if the default browser in Windows 10 is set to Edge, links to new passages will fail. After setting Firefox to the default browser things started working right. Everyone except me probably already knew this, but just in case, I have posted this to help others that may have this same issue.

I didn't know this, but to my knowledge the issue isn't limited to just Windows 10.

While the bug you're referring to (see: Automatic creation of new passages fails when clicking dialog overlay) has been marked as resolved in the source code repository, that does not mean that a release containing that fix has been published.

As of this writing, the current Twine 2 release is v2.1.3, which still contains the bug.
