All the documentation and answers I've found say to run "Twine".

But "Twine" is a 7.1 MB shared library and trying to execute it does nothing.

Probably I'm missing something obvious, but I can't work it out.

Thanks for your answer.

I played around and searched for a bit longer and then gave up. I will just continue using Twine online where it works great!

There is no Twine binary file in the 64 bit Linux pack I downloaded.

As mentioned in the link you gave, there is a browser version available. The link to download this has changed to https://github.com/klembot/twinejs

Please do not regard my question or this comment as a complaint or criticism in any way. I am grateful for and appreciate the work everyone does on projects such as Twine.

I posted my question because I thought it may help others.
